Directions

By car from the NORTH
Leave the A1 Motorway at Firenze Certosa and, immediately after the toll booth, take the Superstrada (dual carriageway) for Siena. Leave this road at the Siena Nord exit. At the first roundabout, turn right towards the city centre. At the second roundabout, turn immediately right in the direction of Uopini – Badesse. Follow this road for 500 metres then take the road on the right signposted for Uopini. The entrance to L’Aia is 600 metres further on your left.

By car from the SOUTH
Leave the A1 Motorway at the Valdichiana exit and, after the toll booth, take the road to Siena. About 5kms from the city, after the railway bridge and staying in the right-hand lane, follow the signs for the “Tangenziale” and “Firenze”. Continue to follow the “Firenze” signs to the right when the road splits again. Leave the dual carriageway at the Siena Acquacalda exit. At the first roundabout, go straight across following the signs for the city centre. At the second roundabout, turn left following the signs for Uopini – Badesse. Follow this road for 500 metres then take the road on the right signposted for Uopini. The entrance to L’Aia is 600 metres further on your left.

From the train station
Take bus no. 10 or no. 4 and ask the driver for the “il Braccio” stop. Follow the road, Via Uopini, that goes down the hill on your right and continue for about 500 metres. On your right you will find the entrance to L’Aia.

From the City Centre (Piazza Gramsci)
Take the number 36 bus which will take you directly to Via Uopini. The entrance to L’Aia is 50 metres from the bus-stop.
